Superman!

Tuesday, June 9
Up, Up, and Away! Brady, Cash, and Nathan met one of their Superheroes at Chick-fil-A last night: Superman! Brady and Nathan were excited but Cash didn't want anything to do with the man in blue tights. Superman nicely came to the rescue and made Brady eat all of his chicken before he could take his picture with him. If only Superman flew into my dining room every night to make Brady eat his dinner!

Pirates Ahoy!

Tuesday, June 9
Shiver me timbers! Brady, Cash, Kasey, and Bubba had a fun adventure on the high seas as they watched a pirate show at May Community Center. Argh!

Ringbearer, Take Two

Saturday, June 6
Well, if possible, Brady looked even more adorable in his BLACK SUIT with his BLACK TIE at cousin Elizabeth's wedding than he did last month. It was pretty precious when Brady and the flower girl had to be persuaded to the leave the altar as the were intently starring at the reverend after walking down the aisle. They looked just like a miniature bride and groom ready to exchange their vows. After the ceremony, the flower girl lost her white shoe and Brady would not let it go until he returned Cinderella her slipper. Priceless! At the reception, all our little Fred Astaire wanted to do was the electric slide. Basically, we think he had his dancing moves confused with his wrestling moves or he was a little in shock and awe over the flower girl's rhythm. She could really move! This time even little Casharoo was out on the floor dancing (and giggling, of course). They both danced until they dropped and finally passed out in their stroller. Then the real party began!

Dinosaur Dig

Wednesday, June 3
We went to a super cool Dinosaur Dig at the Museum of Natural Science Excavation Center so Brady, Nathan, and Cash could dig for dinosaur bones. It was just one big room filled with rubber mulch, shovels, toy dinosaurs, and HUGE dinosaur bones. So much fun! Brady surprised me when he said, "Look Mommy, a SKELETON!" Where he learned that word, heck if I know! Don't get too excited, we don't have a brain surgeon on our hands just yet, as Brady walked across the dinosaur ribs , he referred to them as a "bridge." Even adorable Baby Nolan wanted to be a part of the action and chilled in the dirt. My next job is to teach Brady the name of each dinosaur, he wants to call them all T-Rex (but first I have to learn them)!

NASA

Saturday, May 30
3-2-1 Blastoff! Brady and Nathan are very much into space ships , aliens, and the solar system these days so we thought they would enjoy taking a tour of NASA. In fact when I told Brady where we were going, he yelled, "Yea, I can wear my alien shirt!" (which is why the boys aren't in their typical matching gear if any of you noticed). The highlight of the trip was a "space ship ride to Mars" that the big boys rode on with their Daddies. Brady was so amazed by everything, that now every time we play with legos, playdo, and even cars, he has to pretend they are space ships. I think our mission was a success!

The Reunion

Friday, May 29
Brady was so excited to meet up with his oldest and bestest friend Cass at the zoo. Brady ran up to Cass yelling, "CASSSSSSS" and gave him a great big hug. Cash and Mason hung out in the wagon and checked out the animals together. Despite the heat, we had a great time. Amy and I are so sad that we are no longer neighbors so our boys can grow up together. We miss our friends. :(
