Snowman Ninja

My dear, sweet Cash, only he would come up with a snowman ninja for his class project. Each student was given a snowman template to take home and decorate however they chose with various materials. I remember doing the same assignment with Brady and we crafted an adorable Super Brady Snowman. I thought we could do the same thing with Cash because it was so darn cute, but oh no, Cash was dead set on a ninja. (No pun intended.) I even tried to convince him to make a Star Wars Snowman instead but nothing worked. He wanted a ninja so that's what we made. I did finally put my foot down on the knife, yes knife, that he wanted to add. Can you imagine turning in the project to his preschool teacher with a knife attached? We might as well pack up our backpack and disenroll him from Little Lambs now! We instead compromised on a sword which he made out of a stick from the yard and then he embellished it with gold glitter. Cash painted the snowman entirely black by himself perfectly. He was very intent on not letting any white show through except for the hole in the mask. We also added some black pipe cleaners for the arms. The outfit looked very plain so I outlined some trim with glue and then Cash poured red glitter on top. Lastly, he glued on his favorite treat, M&M's, for the eyes. The little guy looked pretty cool when he was all finished and not as scary as I had imagined. I honestly don't even think Brady knew what a ninja was when he was three. I guess this is what big brother's are good for!
