Neighborhood Halloween Party

Saturday, October 30, 2010

We had a frightful good time at the Ruby Canyon Halloween Block Party. There were moonwalks, a spider bean bag toss, pumpkin bowling, a cake walk, bobbing for apples, a Needle in the Haystack with prizes, a costume contest, and my personal favorite, a donut eating contest. Donuts were hung from a tree on a string and the kids had to eat them as fast as they could with their hands behind their backs. It was so funny! As you can see, Brady eventually had enough of the game and grabbed it with his hands and started eating. He looked like a starving homeless kid. While we are on the subject, during the apple bobbing, Brady also only lasted about a minute before he picked up the apple with his hands. I think he might take after his Daddy when it comes to games, a cheater. Let's hope not, maybe he was just really hungry?

You may wonder why Cash is not in many pictures. He was in one of his moods and would not let me put him down. He did not warm up until Daddy gave him an eyeball lollipop. Go Daddy! He even wanted to go on the hayride all by himself. What! Who is this kid? Thank you Ms. Paula for chaperoning him!
