Happy Anniversary

Mommy and Daddy celebrated their ninth anniversary in style with kids in tow at a hibachi grill. It has become a tradition that we always do hibachi for special events because the kids have a blast watching the chefs cook and Mommy and Daddy just love the food. Cash gave everyone in the restaurant a good laugh when a fire flared on the grill. Without prompting, he pointed his toy fireman at the fire, pretending to put it out. He was so pleased with our response that he started extinguishing fires throughout the restaurant.

On a side note, this toy fireman has become Cash's constant companion. He loves this little guy. If he ever asks for "Ironman" or an "army man," don’t worry -- 90% of the time he really means "fireman," so your chances are good if you bring him this toy. Besides, he pronounces them all pretty much the same with his cute little voice. (Not to say that I’m planning a birthday yet -- after all, I would never think of doing such a thing so early (wink, wink), but I see a fireman party in Cash’s near future!)"

***Flashback: The first time we took Brady to a hibachi grill he was a little over two. At that time, he surprisingly loved to watch cooking shows with me more than he did cartoons. We explained that a chef was going to cook our food so when the male Asian chef came to our table, Brady exclaimed, “That not Rachel Ray!”
