The theme of this summer’s session was High Seas Expedition. Brady had fun making several crafts which he of course related to pirates: a telescope, a steering wheel, a captain’s hat, and several other little trinkets. Even though he had a good time with the expedition theme, Brady still received the message that the Bible is full of God’s words. He even asked me, “Mommy, do you know who lives in your heart? God, and God will always love you.” The last day of the session included a performance filled with all the week's songs and messages. Brady did wonderful and yes, the woman with the pink phone was right in Brady’s face and is a story for another time. Let’s just say that Mommy had to keep reminding herself that this was Vacation Bible School and to set a good example.
